1. What are the benefits of fiber?
There are two types of dietary fiber: insoluble and soluble. An average diet contains a 75:25 percent ratio of insoluble fiber to soluble fiber. Neither form is digested and therefore not absorbed into the bloodstream. Fiber does not have an impact on the total calorie count of a food product. This gives fiber its’ advantage in promoting weight and blood sugar control.

Insoluble Fiber:
Promotes regular bowel movements preventing constipation
Improves the removal of toxic waste from the colon
Controls and balances the pH (acidity level) in the intestines
Soluble Fiber:
Binds with fatty acids thereby lowering total and LDL (or bad) cholesterol
Prolongs the digestion of foods so that sugar is released and absorbed more slowly

5. Are the products appropriate for individuals with Celiac disease or gluten intolerance?
Yes, are products are gluten and wheat free. Gluten is found in:

All forms of wheat (durum, semolina, spelt, kamut, einkorn, faro), and related grains (rye, barley, triticale)

6. Can they help with weight control?
